The service
ThoughtCache is a personal note-capture app whose core features are free and run on your device. Cloud Sync, web access, and the synced Thought Map are optional paid features (“Pro”).
Subscriptions & billing
Pro is billed monthly through Stripe via this website. You can cancel any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current period. Cancelling never deletes or locks your local data — sync simply pauses.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for the content you store. Don't use the service to store unlawful material or to infringe others' rights. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or attempt to disrupt it.
Your content
You own your content. Granting us a copy via Cloud Sync is solely to provide the sync service; we claim no ownership and never train models on it. You can export or delete it at any time from your account page.
Warranty & liability
The service is provided “as is.” Because your phone remains the source of truth, keep your own backups. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior three months.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
